Bias in the Loop: How Humans Evaluate AI-Generated Suggestions
When humans review AI suggestions, who does the reviewing matters more than how the AI performs. Pre-existing attitudes toward AI are the strongest predictor of error detection, and adding effort to the correction process makes people accept more mistakes.
